DEADLINE to complete team’s registration (fulfill all 3 requirements listed below) is 12/1 @ 11 pm 

(school teams coached by teachers the deadline is 12/3 @ 5 pm)

If you miss the deadline another team may be selected to take your spot.  

Requirement #1: Pay Championship Tournament Registration fee ($350)

  • Each team has its own unique payment link, click team list and click on the “Pay Now” link.
  • Teams with demonstrable financial hardship are encouraged to apply for the NorCal FLL grant.

Requirement # 2: Each team is required to provide one full day adult volunteer, registered and assigned for the event through the FIRST dashboard.

  • What is an all day volunteer?  Pick one of these three options:
    • 1 person volunteers for 1 full day role
    • 1 person volunteers for 2 separate non overlapping half day roles
    • 2 different volunteers, volunteer for 2 half day roles
  • Who counts as a volunteer?:
    • Adult (post high school) volunteer
  • How does your volunteer register?:
  • NOTE:  Volunteer must complete FIRST registration, start YPP screening and apply for role by deadline.  Volunteer does not need to be assigned by the deadline. 

Requirement # 3: Submit team information via JotForm.

  • Each team has its own unique team info link, click team list and click on the “Submit Jotform” link.
  • Team picture and robot picture will only be used for judges reference and possible website posting

Optional Tournament Preparation:  Create pit “decorations” / team costumes / and team giveaways for Kids Choice Awards!  Please do not give away stickers, candy, or similar as these create a big mess on the floor!

When all 3 requirements above are completed (including volunteer assignment – not just application),  the team’s Pit Number will be posted on the notes column of the team list.  This allows you to know your team’s detailed schedule for the day.
