This season we expect to send 1 or more teams to each of the following post-season invitational competitions:

  1. FIRST LEGO League World Festival (x2) – Houston, Texas USA, April 18-21
  2. FIRST® LEGO® League Open Invitational Central Europe (x1) – Debrecen, Hungary May 16-19
  3. Flyer,  Facebook:Razorback Open (x2) – Fayetteville, Arkansas USA, May 17-20
  4. LEGOLAND North American Open (maybe) – Carlsbad, California USA, May 18-20
  5. FLL Estonian Open International (x1) – Tallinn, Estonia, June 6-8

 

The Champion’s Award winning team at each Championship will  select which event to attend in order of priority as follows:

  1. Capital Champion’s Award winner
  2. Peninsula Champion’s Award winner
  3. Silicon Valley Champion’s Award winner

If your team received a Core Award trophy at one of the NorCal Championships  (Core Awards are everything except for the Judges’ Awards and the Kids’ Choice Awards) and is interested in attending one of the post-season invitational events, please complete the following survey form ASAP and no later than March 4th.

After taking care of the 3 Champion’s Award winning teams,  we will do a random lottery selection of each team that has applied.  The team will be given their highest ranked event slot that is still available.  We will notify teams by March 5th of the results of this lottery.
